Thony Anyiam, Designer

African craftspeople have set up shop in many American cities. The skills they acquired at home are in great demand among the African and African-American communities. African designers, such as Moshood from Nigeria, who owns stores in New York and Thony Anyiam from Côte d'Ivoire, who has a successful shop in Langley Park, Maryland, bring creativity and style.
