Little Senegal, Harlem

In Harlem, 116th Street is known as Little Senegal. There, Senegalese, Malians, Ivorians, and Guineans have opened a variety of stores that cater to the African community and the neighborhood at large. They provide much-needed services to the area. They also have established two mosques, which attract hundreds of the faithful every Friday.
