Following the Slave Trade
Route Lesson
Directions:
1.
Using information from the research and the map
assignment, student groups should create a three-panel visual or cartoon that
depicts the area before, during, and after the settlement of African Americans.
Each visual should tell the story of the impact African Americans have had on
that area.
2.
Each student group should make sure that the visual
or cartoon identifies the area of focus and clearly identifies the cultural and
economic impact.
3. Each
student group will present its visual to the class and should select a
spokesperson to present their work to the class.
